Details

Join the IE Arts & Humanities Division and the IE Sustainability Office for a special Sustainability Week edition of the FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL, in collaboration with the Alliance Française of Madrid.

Enjoy a screening of the French-Belgian film Rouge (Red Soil) by director by Farid Bentoumi and a Cannes Film Festival 2020 Selection. The film will be screened in French with English subtitles.

Film description: 
An occupational nurse attempts to blow the whistle on toxic waste leaking from a chemical plant.

Following the film, members of the Student Sustainability Committee will join in conversation with Alec Miguel Barcenilla van der Maesen, Sustainability specialist and Junior Manager of Impact Teaching & Research at the IE Sustainability Office - Global Corporation Centre and Waya Quiviger, Executive Director of the Transatlantic Relations Initiative at IE School of Global and Public Affairs.

IE community members may register external guests (please indicate # of tickets and complete the necessary information requested).
