LBS Launchpad Kick-Off: Pitch Night

CALLING ALL ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS! 

December is right around the corner, and with it, LBS Launchpad is about to start. And how to better kick it off than with a great 🔜 LBS Pitch Night!

What is LBS Launchpad? 

LBS Launchpad is a pre-accelerator program that is open to aspiring entrepreneurs from all backgrounds. Successful applicants take part in a series of networking events, workshops, and pitches designed to prepare them to receive initial funding by the end of the program. The program ends in a pitch night where the top three teams will present to London-based VC firms.

So, What's Pitch Night?

The official kick-off for the Launchpad program!

Pitch Night is an event for everyone –

• The Dreamers ✨: For those of you who have been dreaming up ideas for years
• The Thinkers 🤯 : For those of you that TOTALLY had that one idea someone else turned into a unicorn
• The Doers 🤓: For those that have been slaving away in corporate reality and just can’t wait to be your own boss
• The Future Elon Musks 🤑: 9 figure exit, anyone?

And for those of you who are just passionate about entrepreneurship, it is a great night to hear about upcoming ideas in the London startup scene 💡

We encourage everyone to join! This is your opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and turn your brilliant idea into a brilliant Launchpad Pitch 🚀!
 
Finally, the night will end with networking (plus canapes and drinks 🍻) to meet fellow entrepreneurs and maybe even create a team to submit to the Launchpad program. 

How to get started? 😬

All entrepreneurship enthusiasts (students or professionals) can join our kick-off and pitch session!

Those who want to pitch an idea, apply by midnight, Nov 29 using this form 👈🏽✅✅✅ We will select 12 people to pitch their idea – finalists will be shared on Tuesday, November 30th.

Each Pitcher will have 90 seconds to pitch their idea on stage. The audience will be able to vote for the top 3 pitches (there will be prizes for the top pitches 🤩)! 

When? ⏳ December 2nd, 7 – 9 PM
Where? 📍Sussex Place: LT12 (Presentation), Networking to follow in Dining Hall

🎇 Reminder!! You must sign up on CampusGroups / Ticket Tailor AND apply to pitch using this form to be eligible to pitch – pitch applications close Nov 29th at midnight so make sure you sign up early! 🎇
