We are honored to host Shigeru Ban, the renowned Japanese Architect and Pritzker Architecture Prize Winner (2014) is known for innovative and empathetic brilliant designs using unconventional and inexpensive materials in the most efficient and resilient manner possible, especially with disaster victims. He was profiled by Time magazine in their projection of 21st-century innovators in the field of architecture and design.

In the midst of tumultuous times, as the Palestine/Gaza crisis unfolds, the "Ten Days of Architectural Fortitude" emerges as a somber yet compelling event. This 10-day architectural journey takes place against the backdrop of a world in crisis. While turmoil and uncertainty envelop our daily lives, this initiative stands as a beacon of hope, knowledge, and reflection. It is comprised of a series of internal and public events and talks, organized and hosted by the Department of Architecture at AUC in collaboration with its Alumni Association (AAA), the student-led association (AA) and NextARCH Lab.

*AUC is a tobacco-free community. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
**A photo ID is required for entry. Facial recognition is required at all times.
